About the Role

As the Safety & Environment Operations Manager, you will lead the team in promoting a safe workplace by coaching and advising on operational processes ensuring they are embedded throughout the business.  You will review and implement operational systems and procedures in the business and solving safety and environmental problems based on conceptual and technical knowledge, analysis of evidence and critical thought.  With a commercial acumen, you will provide advice and guidance to support the safety and environment strategic direction of the organisation.

A key responsibility of the role will be to facilitate and embed our behavioural safety program.  You will coach and mentor Safety & Environment team members in their interaction with the workforce, and coach and advise on safety and behavioural operations and processes, ensuring they are embedded through the organisation 

Skills & Experience

Being a natural leader, you will demonstrate an approachable and open mind with the ability to positively influence stakeholders. You will have an analytical approach and a strong focus on behavioural safety.  You will hold a degree in Safety Management or related discipline, coupled with auditor qualifications and previous management experience.
