We are NSW’s bulk water supplier, river operator and your one-stop shop for licensing, water trades and water information. We supply two thirds of water used in NSW from our 42 dams, rivers and pipelines to regional towns, irrigators, Sydney Water and local water utilities. We also own and operate the largest surface and groundwater monitoring network in the southern hemisphere and build, maintain and operate essential infrastructure.
We are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader to join the System Operation and Asset Maintenance team based at Warragamba.
The role will be responsible for managing resources, ensuring team productivity and achieving quality outcomes as well as ensuring effective operations of infrastructure and maintenance of sites.
The role will see you reviewing and reporting on maintenance and services delivery and ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements. You will ensure that all personnel maintain their required training, qualifications and high safety standards.
We are looking for someone that is:
- A proven leader of a field based team, preferably from a utility background
- Experienced with a major company with high safety standards and proven reliability
- Able to manage a schedule of work for both internal and contracted work forces
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including drafting scope of work and other documents
- Positive attitude to get the work done as required and motivate the team to do the same
- Able to manage fleet vehicles and equipment
