We are presently looking for an experienced Exploration Geologist who is passionate about exploration and discovery, to join our Near Mine Exploration team. The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic exploration team, working on our brownfields projects surrounding our Nova Operation.
Reporting to the Senior Project Geologist, you will be involved in a combination of contractor management, diamond drilling, and core logging with exposure to a range of advanced geophysical surveys, whilst working on a campaign style roster FIFO from Perth.

Key accountabilities for this role include:
- Ensuring Safety, Health and Environmental factors and technical aspects of the projects are delivered effectively;
- Drill Target Generation on the mine lease using existing geological and geophysical datasets;
- Drilling program preparation and supervision;
- Geological logging and sampling;
- Digital input of logging data;
- Interpretation and Modelling of all drilling results; and
- Managing field assistants and drilling contractors as required.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A BSc. Hons degree in Geology/Geosciences with significant experience in a similar role;
- Previous experience working with Nickel deposits highly favourable;
- Experience with diamond drilling is essential;
- Exceptional communication skills including highly competent written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated knowledge in mineral systems that include base and precious metals;
- Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers licence, essential;
- Current First Aid certificate, essential;
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last three months, essential; and
