MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Integra Underground Mine

Hunter Valley, NSW 

Integra Underground Mine is a recently re-opened Operation, located near Singleton in the NSW Hunter Valley. The Operation is expected to produce 1.3 million tonnes of high fluidity saleable coking coal for 2018.

Opportunities are currently available for experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisors to join the team at Integra Underground.  Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will provide operational management and technical support services to ensure equipment operation is maintained and in safe condition.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisors will include the management of mechanical trades on shift, liaising with OEMs and offsite personnel regarding breakdowns, providing guidance and direction to tradespersons for fault finding; undertaking incident investigations; monitoring of surface and underground internal projects; the management of planned work including maintenance periods; reviewing statutory compliance to work orders; and input into the overall mine planning process.

The roles will suit individuals with strong technical knowledge and experience in a similar supervisory position working in an underground coal mining environment, and who hold relevant trade or engineering qualifications.  The successful applicants will have a strong background in SAP and Microsoft Office; proven skills in delivering high standards, proven leadership skills and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
