Drill Fitter (Underground)
Perseverance Drilling are underground drilling specialists, an Australian owned and operated drilling company, contracting to the underground mining industry.
With a main workshop and office in Kalgoorlie we complete underground drilling for a range of mine owners and contractors all over Western Australia.
We are currently looking for an Experienced and an Entry Level Drill Fitter.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Australian recognised Heavy Trade or Automotive Trade Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License
- National Police Clearance (3 months)
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Excellent communication skills
- Safety consciousness
- Self-Motivated who takes pride in their work
- Great attitude
- Must be comfortable working independently and a part of a team
EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED FAVORABLE:
- Canbus RCS system knowledge (Highly favourable)
- Proven recent experience in drill rig maintenance (Highly favourable)
- Maintenance and repairs to Atlas Copco Rigs including Simba M4C, M6C, M7C & E7C
- Hydraulic and Electrical Fault-finding knowledge and experience
- Ability to read/use Hydraulic and Electrical Schematics
- Knowledge of Remote systems and cameras
- Underground Mining Experience

- 14/7 FIFO Perth or a Residential Roster in Kalgoorlie
- 12hr Day Shift only
