WorkPac are seeking several trade qualified Fixed Plant Boilermakers and Fitters for mine site work in Mt Isa, commencing ASAP.
You must be willing to get yourself to Mt Isa for the work, accommodation options are available.
Work will be 100% mine site based, carrying out general maintenance, repair and shutdown work in various lead and copper areas of the mine. You must be willing to work in lead environments, be clean shaven every day and wear a respirator for your shift.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
To apply you MUST have:
- Relevant Boilermaking or Fitting trade qualification
- Confined Space and Working at Heights, both completed within the last 2 years
- Be physically fit & capable of working in extreme heat conditions and lead stream environments
- Be reliable, proactive and hard working
You must be willing to obtain all mine site requirements:
- Pre Employment Medical and Drug Alcohol & Blood Lead
- Fire & First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Glencore Induction
All shifts will be 12 hours, both day and night shift may be required. 5+ shifts/week, min 60 hours/week.
