Metals X Limited owns the Nifty Copper Operations and Wingellina Nickel Project, both in Western Australia. The Company is also Australia’s largest tin producer with its 50 per cent ownership of the Renison Tin Operation in Tasmania. It continues to be a diversified group exploring and developing metals and minerals in Australia.

An opportunity exists for a Drill Fitter to join our Mobile Maintenance team at the Nifty Copper Operation. The role is offered on family friendly roster with flights provided from Perth, Western Australia.

To be successful in your application, you will need the following:

• Trade qualification, with a minimum of 5 years post trade experience.
• Must have proven experience in Underground Mining role.
• Must have experience with Sandvik development drills DD420 & DD421.
• Experience with CAT R2900 and R1700 loaders.
• Experience with Atlas Copco MT6020 Haul Trucks.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Valid  C” class WA License as a minimum.
• Must have the Ability to understand and interpret OEM manuals and hydraulic/ pneumatic schematics.
• Must have the Ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction to achieve work outcomes.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with in set time frames and still meet the set targets.
• Sound record keeping and computer skills.
• Demonstrated strong commitment to safety.
• Current Senior First Aid cert (desirable)
• High risk fork lift and CN (desirable)
