This Operations Maintenance Coordinator position is a vital role in our QGC Business, and is accountable for ensuring that the wider production operations and team is appropriately supported and enabled to achieve HSSE standards and production metric targets.

Some of the key deliverables and accountabilities of this role are:

  • Interface between Operations, Planning & Maintenance including work prioritisation and simultaneous operations management.
  • Planning and resourcing for work flow schedules.
  • Shutdown and turnaround operations interface.
  • Provide input and leadership as required to incident investigations
  • Conduct routine audits on work flow process and operational maintenance deliverables.
  • Support, leadership, coaching and mentoring to the Production Operations Team
  • Manage operational budgets
  • Support the delivery of safe and efficient maintenance operations
  • Support the ISSoW / PTW processes within level of accountability
  • Focal point for production team communications relating to maintenance/shutdown and work flow information, including tool box talks, plans and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance to QGC standards/procedures
  • Lead operations team performance in the maintenance arena with structured reviews/reports and feedback.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance activities
  • Ensure that maintenance is executed as planned in order to maintain safety and reliability of the plant
  • Review and recommend updates to operational work flow and PTW process and instructions as required.
  • Perform administration/verification of shift team maintenance & turnaround deliverables.
  • Take a leading role in ensuring operation and maintenance planning & work flow process is constantly improving in efficiency & delivering results.

The candidate we are therefore seeking for this position, will have/be;

  • Solid LNG and Utilities operational knowledge
  • Good understanding of Plant Maintenance requirement
  • Extensive operational ISSoW  / PTW experience in a complex hydrocarbon processing environment
  • Good knowledge of electronic process controls and safeguarding systems
  • Solid experience working in the petrochemical industry
  • Experience leading and supervising teams
  • Extensive operational experience at all levels i.e. field/panel
  • Expert in LNG Operations and shift teams
  • Good understanding of fundamental operating principles of industrial process systems
  • Ability to confidently use SAP, Maximo & e Vision
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to write and present technical papers to peers, management and third parties

 

Crucial to the success of this role is the ability to work & lead effectively in/and across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, based in various locations, whilst maintaining a high work level of work ethic, being able to work autonomously and being passionate about driving our company’s performance
