About the role

Clean TeQ currently have an opening for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team on the world-leading Clean TeQ Sunrise project.

The role can be based either in Parkes NSW (or surrounding areas) or Perth (WA). Please note, this role will relocate to Parkes (NSW) in the future in order to be located close to the mine site.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this role is truly unique. Not only will you have the opportunity to work with our innovative technologies (a world first in mining), you will join the project in its infancy giving you a rare chance to shape the development and management of the RAM model. Utilising your solid experience in reliability engineering you will analyse data to predict, identify, investigate and provide solutions for reliability issues and failure risks.

You will develop and implement analysis methods to determine the reliability of components, assets and processes on the Clean TeQ Sunrise plant and develop action plans that meet cost and performance requirements.

• Review and investigate identified reliability problems and failure risks
• Provide technical expertise to collect and analyse reliability data using comprehensible engineering techniques, principles and procedures
• Make recommendations for improvements in the design, planning, estimation, installation and commissioning of new or recommended plant changes
• Develop workable reliability and maintainability solutions to complex and unique issues
• Develop action plans and implement strategies for improving asset reliability and maintenance execution
• Determine the impact of reliability actions and assess financial, social, environmental and commercial risks of alternate courses of action
• Perform RCFA to help prevent failures
• Develop innovative testing approaches
• Contribute to the development of team competency

Skills and experience

To be considered for this unique and career defining role you will require:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A postgraduate degree in Reliability Engineering level 1 and 2
• Have at least 8 years' experience as a Reliability Engineer or in a related field
• Ideally a background in hydro-chemical fixed plant
• Experience in delivering workstreams to the expected levels in a timely manner
• A dynamic mindset
