The Job:
We are seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to work FIFO within Australia. As a Drill Fitter, you will be required to:
- Be trade qualified with site experience
- Display strong interpersonal skills
- Carry out services, repairs and maintenance to drill rigs, vehicles, and associated equipment
- Carry out basic welding and fabrication using oxy/acetylene, arc and mig.
- Comply with and promote company and client procedures
- Have a current Unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers' license or the ability to obtain one
- Access, complete, maintain and update documents as required – manually and electronically
- Promote and maintain a high standard of safety throughout the sites you work on.
- Provide a National Police Clearance
The Candidate:
It would be an advantage but not essential to have:
- Previous drilling industry experience
- An understanding of rig hydraulics, drill compressors and boosters
- Experience in servicing 4WD vehicles and trucks
- Senior First Aid
