The Company:

Wallis Drilling are currently seeking Drillers Offsiders for various drilling programs.
Duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the movement, set up and operation of drill rig/s and secondary equipment,
- Handle samples and provide accurate recordings,
- Clean and maintain rig and equipment.
- Assist with operational maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Maintain and care for all company and client equipment and/or plant onsite.
- Conduct inspections (safety & operation) of drilling rigs, drill equipment and support vehicles.
- Liaise with employees and client representatives in a professional manner.
- Mix and test fluids, clean pits and points,
Essential Criteria:
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Unrestricted 'HR' drivers licence (Road ranger)
- National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old)
- Be prepared to work in a variety of environments (mine site or camps)
- Be physically fit and healthy - pass detailed pre-employment and ongoing testing
- Be team and safety focused, willing to learn
- Have basic mechanical knowledge
Preferred Criteria (but not essential):
- Mine company inductions (i.e. RTIO, BHP, FMG, etc)
- Working at Heights
- Provide First Aid course
- Fire – demonstrate first attack fire fighting equipment
- 4WD training course
