Are you a dynamic Project Leader with strong delivery and commercial experience, in the Underground Electrical infrastructure space, looking for an exciting opportunity to forge a successful career path in a global leading organisation?
Currently we have an opportunity for an Underground Construction Manager to join our underground New South Wales Electrical Construction team, based in Sydney. Working across the Eastern and Greater Sydney region, you will be reporting into the Business Unit Project Manager and given full responsibility of the Electrical Construction activities, including planning and delivery of works safely, on time and within budget.
Ideally, you have experience working with the New South Wales Power Distribution Networks. You will have experience in installing and replacing LV and HV cables, as well as using safe trenching techniques. You will be a hands on manager that leads by example, and is able to forge excellent relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the smooth running of operations, and delivering in accordance with contract requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, managing underground construction delivery teams. You will be a strong people leader with a proactive “can do” attitude, who knows how to drive the team to successful project completion. Your time management, planning and organisation skills along with your technical background will be highly regarded.
