About our Client
Our client is an international market leader in mining and resources with a state of the art facility located at the Townsville Port.
About the Role
Reporting to the shift supervisor you will be responsible for safe operation of a forklifts up to 7 tonnes as well as CAT 998 loader
As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's production requirements. This role is locally based in Townsville.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate Forklifts up to 7 tonne
- Operation of CAT 988 Loader
- Pre-start checks
- Operate equipment safely
- Follow company policies and procedures
Skills/Experience
- 3 years operating experience in fast paced production environment
- Current High Risk FL licence
- Front End Loader ticket (recent experience on CAT 988 preferred)
- Current Townsville Port Induction (or willingness to obtain)
- Production oriented with a focus on achieving results for both yourself and for the company
- High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- Your key focus is safety with a high attention to detail to abide by site procedures.
