We are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Electrical Supervisor who has the skills and experience to be is responsible for the supervision of Leading Hands, labour and equipment. This position is to develop, direct activities within the Workshop, ensuring completion of both production and quality objectives in a safe, cost effective and timely manner.  This role is based in Mackay.

To be successful in obtaining a position, it is essential that you provide evidence of the following:

• Relevant Trade Certificate coupled with current QLD Electrical Licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supervision within a similar industry.
• Strong communication skills including negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

 

•  Being familiar with safety, quality and maintenance procedures and requirements.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance of the HSE Plan.
• Planning and coordinating resources and equipment to conduct the work in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
• Ensuring that the standard of workmanship are compliant with the specifications and that specified inspections and tests are conducted and records maintained to substantiate conformance.
• Ensuring that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that Company procedures are followed.
