About the role
This role will report to the Operations Manager, and will be responsible for day to day billing activities, including meter data management.
As part of a small team, you will be working closely with the business and will have excellent attention to detail, be data and detail oriented with proven billing experience, and able to demonstrate a keenness to roll up your sleeves. Experience with Orion billing system and/or electricity industry is desirable but not essential. We are a small, passionate team and our staff are energetic and focused.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring daily bill runs have been verified and completed as per Service Level Agreement requirements;
- Identifying and rectifying billing exceptions within Next Business Energy exception handling requirements;
- Identifying and rectifying markets and meter data exceptions within Next Business Energy exception handling requirements as required;
- Managing manual invoicing (including reversals and re-bill tasks), charges/ adjustments, dovetailing & reconciliations, ad hoc price plan changes, and resolution of internal workflow requirements;
- Ensuring internal enquires are completed in a timely manner per Service Level Agreement requirements;
- Ensuring that the resolution takes into account the needs of the company, our customers and also meets our compliance obligations;
- Establishing and maintaining an excellent constructive and positive working relationship with internal stakeholders;
- Providing advice and support in billing and markets enquiries to all employees within the business;
- Liaise and provide reports to the Retail Operations Manager for issues identified through the investigation of customer complaints and disputes;
- Managing the invoice calculation, display and graph accuracy;
- Ensure data and system integrity is maintained; and
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as requested.
