The Opportunity – Mechanical Surface Coordinator- Dendrobium
Based on site, the purpose of the Mechanical Surface Coordinator is to provide leadership and direction for the execution of day to day Surface Infrastructure mechanical maintenance activities.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Actively contributes to forecasting and scheduling of Surface Infrastructure mechanical maintenance activities and projects
- Provide technical/ mechanical support for Surface Infrastructure operational and associated maintenance activities
- Oversee Surface Infrastructure mechanical components, equipment and personnel performance to ensure productivity requirements are met
- Determine variance to planned End of Month (EOM) position. Establish the variance between the forecast EOM and planned EOM position as detailed in the Monthly Plan.
- Daily Rescheduling Process, prepares the 24-hour Shift Plans and reconciles any differences with the Weekly Plan for each Production and Mine Services shift
- Review work execution performance with team members, identify any gaps and take corrective measures as necessary to improve performance

- Trade Certificate or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering area
- 3 years working in an underground Coal Mine
