ILUKA RESOURCES is a major participant in the global mineral sands sector and is involved in the exploration, project management, operations and marketing of zircon and titanium based products.  With a corporate support centre in Perth, we also have activities in regional Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia, USA and Sierra Leone.

Based at our new mining Operation at Cataby, we are seeking experienced Shift Coordinators to lead and influence a team of process operators. The primary focus is ensuring safe and efficient operational practices in order to maximise production and quality of output.

This fast paced role will require excellent communication skills and demonstrated initiative to achieve site wide operational excellence with a strong focus on safety and productivity. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, this role is pivotal in optimising plant performance. Reporting of production and operational variances with early intervention to prevent plant underperformance, and waste minimisation by optimising recovery for a given feed grade while maintaining product specification.

• Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the operation

• Valid full C and HR Class Driver’s License, in addition to knowledge of a range of mobile plant and earthmoving equipment

• High level of numerical, literacy and computer skills

  Desired qualifications and experience;

• Prior experience in a mining and/or processing environment

• Previous supervisory experience

• Certificate III in Resource Processing

• Certificate IV in Frontline Management

This position is on a 8/6 roster and is semi remote located on our operational site 150km north of Perth at Cataby in the Shire of Dandaragan. Travel is DIDO with on-site camp based accommodation provided
