We have an opportunity for an Asset Inspector to join our team.
The Role:
As an Asset Inspector you are accountable for the efficient and safe undertaking of inspecting, assessing and reporting on the status and condition of Essential Energy’s sub transmission and distribution assets, in addition the role includes the undertaking of minor on site defect rectification and termite treatment.
The Person:
You will be experienced and skilled in the inspection, testing assessment of energy, distribution and transmission assets, including termite infestation. You will need to gather data in a safe and accurate manner, using your working knowledge of safety policies, safety leadership and involvement in the enhancement of safety processes.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to embrace technology, have solid computer skills and be able to provide the organisation accurate reports and data in a timely manner. Well developed written and verbal communication skills are essential for the role and you will need the ability to work autonomously.
Qualifications:
- AQF II Enterprise Qualification - in Asset Inspection or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
- Drivers licence White Card –
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert – General Course
- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role.
Desirable:
- First Aid
- Forklift Operator
- Dogging
- Chemical awareness, handling and storage
