Our multidisciplinary service offering includes the traditional services of scaffolding, rope access, insulation, protective coatings & blasting and passive fire protection as well as specialist services such as refractory, asbestos management, and advanced industrial cleaning and vaccumation of heat exchangers, pipes, tanks and vessels using high pressure water and chemicals.
Cape are currently seeking experienced 3 & 4G Welders to join our Alcoa Maintenance team at Alcoa Kwinana. We have immediate requirements for ongoing works until December 2018. These positions will be in a DIDO (drive in drive out) capacity, working Monday to Friday 8-10 hours per day.
The works involved with be assisting with foam removal from tank roofs, and remove and repair damaged roof sections where identified. You will also be able to assist our insulation team in removing non friable asbestos tape where identified.
To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Welding and Fabrication Trade Certificate Pref with a 3G or 4G Experience (Must be able to pass a weld test onsite)
- Relevant Trade qualification
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Tickets
- Be prepared to complete Asbestos training at our Cape Skills Training Facility.
- A nationality accredited OHS construction induction card (White/Blue)
- Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
