THE WHO, THE WHAT AND THE WHERE
Our client is an international, leading drilling contractor who work in 20+ countries worldwide. They urgently require 4 experienced Drill Fitters/HD Mechanics to join their team. As our client only work with the best mining companies on the best sites, we are only looking for the best Drill Fitters.
This is a permanent role, so say goodbye to contracting. The FIFO swings are 2/1 and guaranteed – this is a professional operation and your time offsite is important to them – no one is asking you to stick around for another swing to meet deadlines. As a nice little bonus, you get an extra week of annual leave to enjoy as well – that’s 5 weeks per year, along with a bunch of extra benefits. You can also enjoy excellent camp facilities, with mine-site work only – no exploration caravans! On top of all of that, they are offering a $180K annual salary; this is an opportunity too good to overlook!
We won’t bore you with the details of the job, because if you have the experience we need, you know what it’s all about.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
This is a sweet job, so we’re not going to take just any old mechanic – you need to be at the top of your game, and care about doing high quality work. You will need:
- HD mechanic trade qualifications
- Your HR Licence
- Experience working on rig hydraulics, drill compressors and boosters
- A police clearance with no nasty surprises
- The ability to pass a medical
