Diesel Fitter Required
This position offers a lifestyle roster within a well known mining and construction company.
About the Role:
Leading mining and construction company require experienced Diesel Fitters to join their team in Blackwater QLD. This role reaps many rewards, from the competitive remuneration to the lifestyle roster. This role is attractive to both local and non-local candidates as camp accommodation or locality allowance is provided.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a mining environment as a Diesel Fitter.
Based on a long term contract, role offers 12.5hr shifts, both day & night shift, camp accommodation/allowance and a bus service from selected locations.
In this role you will be required to:
- Be proficient in the use of all Fitter’s equipment
- Operate with a high level of productivity to ensure deadlines are met
- Be punctual and well presented
- Demonstrate a solid work ethic
- Follow direct instruction
- Comply with OHS policies, procedures and legislations, which includes participation in site safety meetings
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Previous experience in a mining Diesel Fitting role
- Diesel Fitters Trade
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current Standard 11 Induction
- Demonstrated ability
- Relevant industry experience
- An excellent attitude towards safety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
