Vacation Student Placement (12 weeks)
Support our operational mining teams while you gain knowledge and experience.
Technical training – Students participate in a variety of hands on roles where the experience gained will complement your studies
Mentoring and coaching – Be mentored by senior employees and get the benefits of regular feedback, and coaching.
We are offering opportunities to students in:
- Mining Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgy
- Survey
- Geology
The Right Fit
Our program is designed around high potential, values-based individuals who are ready to take on a challenge.
You will bring:
- Appropriate Educational Level (university student in geotechnical engineering / engineering geology / mining engineering /metallurgy etc.)
- Competent level computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.
- Self-awareness and desire to learn and grow
- A strong ability to collaborate and work well with others.
You are:
- An agile, creative thinker who can apply informed judgement in identifying viable solutions
- Able to work autonomously and within a team.
- A great communicator with strong presentation skills.
