CSA Mine is a high-grade underground copper mine located in Cobar, Central Western NSW. Employing over 300 people, CSA Mine is now looking for a new member to join the team.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Underground Mine Surveyor / Graduate Mine Surveyor to join the Technical Services Team.  

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for all survey control required to achieve short to medium term production and development targets
• Ensure development designs are marked up in a timely manner
• Ensure all Production Designs are marked up in a timely manner
• Conduct CMS Surveys and validate results
• Conduct Asbuilt surveys as required
• Maintain and improve mine models
• Ensure compliance to legislative requirements and site standards
• Carry out End Of Month Surveys
• Undertake workplace inspections
• Any other task as directed by your supervisor.

  Requirements

• BOSSI [link removed] recognised Degree qualified in Mine Surveying or Spatial Sciences
• Ability to work effectively autonomously and as part of a team
• Exposure to mine software including Surpac will be highly regarded
• Exposure to Leica Total Station will be highly regarded
• Minimum of 2 years underground metalliferous mining experience
• Must have Australian Residency
• Must have a manual car licence
