Veolia is seeking expressions of interest for an ambitious Management of Change Engineer to join our Northern Water Treatment Plant Team at Wandoan in the Western Downs Region. Reporting to the Field Manager you will be responsible for the efficient, timely and on-budget delivery of all engineering, operational, configuration and organisational changes, whilst ensuring compliance with existing Management of Change procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all changes to operations (both permanent and temporary) are appropriately scrutinised, risk assessed, authorised, and documented prior to implementation
  • Ensure all Management of Change documentation/archiving, reporting, and audits are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Coordinate and manage the completion of defects projects and operational improvement projects
  • Ensure changes to the plant preparations are communicated to the operations team.
  • Management of projects including preparation of technical specifications and tender documents

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering or related discipline
  • Knowledge of chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines with a preference for construction experience
  • Experience in the operation or process design of membrane water plants
  • Commissioning of process plants as a Manager or engineering role
  • Handover experience of process plants and an understanding of documentation and risk requirements
  • Understanding of control systems and networks
  • Project management experience
  • Defect management experience
