• $195,000 - $210,000 package
• 12 month fixed contract

Our client is an integral part of the Australian lifestyle. As a result of exciting new projects being developed, we have been engaged to identify a senior level lead tenure and Native Title expert to:

• Review, update and document portfolio risks and controls;
• Deliver the tenure and Native Title elements of access to ensure our client can carry out its activities;
• Manage tenure and Native Title compliance with obligations and commitments to ensure there is no unplanned loss, penalties, legal exposure or damage;
• Manage the documentation of tenure and Native Title obligations and commitments, including evidencing how they are met;
• Liaise with the relevant business units to ensure they understand and self-manage their tenure and Native Title accountabilities; and
• Manage tenure and Native Title portfolio activity to support certain parts of the business, including providing advice and support in relation to various commercial arrangements.

To be eligible for this role you will:

• Have tertiary qualifications in Law or Business or another relevant discipline;
• Have high level knowledge and experience of regulatory and commercial arrangements relating to tenure management and Native Title in the resources sector;
• Have senior leadership skills and experience, and the ability to work in teams often without direct authority;
• Have the ability to engage with external stakeholders, develop productive relationships, negotiate and influence;
• Have strong commercial acumen, along with demonstrated experience in negotiating complex matters and achieving high business value outcomes; and
• Be results orientated, with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
