Your new company
This client provides a high level service to a range of mining and resource companies across Australia. They specialise in innovative and customised solutions to optimise operational performance and increase productivity. Due to increase in work, they are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for work on their clients sites, based in Whyalla
Your new role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the upgrade, design and integration of existing and the project engineering of the implementation of low voltage and brown field electrical systems. You will also be required to provide technical support and guidance to the team across relevant standards and regulations. A flexible roster is available including relocation opportunities, 8:6 or 2:1 FIFO/DIDO rosters.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience in mining process or heavy industry
Experience with PLC and SCADA systems advantageous
Project Engineering experience in a brownfield operations
Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Regulations
Full Australian working rights
