This role will be part of the Technical Service team, providing service provision to customers to ensure optimum performance of equipment in terms of safety, productivity and reliability.

 

As a Technical Service Representative, you will be involved in service provision, customer relationship management, operational excellence and continuous improvement - the more you learn, the more we challenge you. An ability to work fluidly within a changing environment is a must.

 

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Supervision and co-ordination of maintenance, repair and breakdown work on mining equipment;
  • Identify and Implement machine performance improvement strategies and maintenance plans;
  • Provide application support and maintenance advice to the Customer;
  • Assist Customers in the identification, sourcing, and ordering of parts when required;
  • In conjunction with the Customer, develop and refine work scopes for scheduled work and repairs;
  • At all times, comply with Customer safety standards and Komatsu Mining safety requirements.

     

    Valued Skills:

  • Trade or Engineering Qualification; (electrical skillset preferred);
  • Knowledge of Komatsu Mining Loaders and P&H Shovels;
  • Previous experience in the mining industry or related heavy industry;
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical and engineering drawings;
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage and take responsibility in a remotely supervised role;
  • Demonstrated Customer management experience;
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability;
  • Full understanding of Site Safety and Environment protocols.
