Reporting to the Superintendent Water Planning, the role will be responsible for mine water management from pre-feasibility to closure. The role requires technical excellence paired with practical solution based outcomes. You will be required to develop strategic mine water management plans, operating strategies and provide advice on the management of surface water. You will work directly with site leadership and consultants to ensure long-term value translates into near term execution.
You will have an in-depth technical knowledge of water-related risk in mining as well as experience in surface water assessments and related water infrastructure planning. You will have a well-developed and mature project management approach. You will also have strong engagement and influencing skills, allowing you to build relationships across the business to deliver technical robust and value driven outcomes.
