The company
My client is a leading international underground Mining company who over the last 30+ years have established a reputation that has been shaped on consistently providing a safe, friendly and professional working environment for their employees.
Available Positions
They are looking for Underground Auto Electricians who will be based on their mine sites in Western Australia.
Auto electrical work including breakdowns, maintenance and service work is involved. Along with that, it could also include air-conditioning service and repair works as well as RCT repairs. They work on mining machinery like CAT, Atlas Copco & Sandvik.
What are the key skills needed in this position
- 2+ years post trade experience working in underground mining equipment
- Experience in Fault Finding, diagnostics, maintenance and servicing on underground machinery
- Knowledge on CAT SIS & ET - desired
- Knowledge on RCT - desired
- Air-Con service and repair experience
- Able to work autonomously
- Mechanical knowledge and able to help the mechanics where needed (advantageous)
Qualifications and Licenses Required
- Australian Recognized Trade Qualification
- Police Certificate - dated within the last 12 months
- Driver's License
- First Aid, Working at Heights & Dangerous Goods Security Card - Desired but not essential
