About the role
On behalf of our client, WA’s leading Drill & Blast contractor, MPi are currently seeking applications from experience Blast Hole Drillers for multiple projects in the North Eastern Goldfields region of WA.
In this role, you will be responsible for all in-pit blast hole drilling as per pre-designed pattern and you must hold previous experience on one or more of the following drill rigs:
- Panterra DP1500 or DP1100
- Atlas Copco L8
- Atlas Copco D65
Whilst on site, you will work 12 hours per day, based on an 2/1 roster, FIFO ex Perth.
To be considered you must:
- Currently reside Western Australia or be willing to make your own way too / from Perth as a point of hire for all East Coast residents
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Blast Hole Driller, previous experience in a gold mining environment will be highly regarded
- Hold previous experience on the above listed drill rigs
- Hold a current HR driver's licence & Dangerous Goods card
- Hold a current First Aid certificate (highly desirable)
- Be able to provide a cleared medical and drug/alcohol screen
- Hold or be able to obtain National Police clearance (issued with the last 3 months).
