Occupational Hygienist – Capcoal Underground Operation - Grasstree
Reporting directly to the site Safety and Health Superintendent, you will be responsible for the facilitation of the site occupational hygiene and health monitoring activities and strategies. This opportunity will see you apply your current knowledge to coordinate and implement safety and health management systems to engage and support our site personnel and senior leaders. With the optimisation of our occupational hygiene management systems you will also provide assistance in identifying and addressing safety and health related issues while actively monitoring the sites progress towards zero harm.
With your extensive professional knowledge and highly developed interpersonal skills you will be able to guide, mentor and influence to ensure that Anglo American is at the forefront of industry performance in Occupational Hygiene and Health. Ideally you will be tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. Australian mining and resources sector experience and membership with AIOH will be highly regarded with exposure to underground coal mining. Recognised qualifications in Safety and Health Management Systems are preferred.
