Mining Technical Systems Analyst – Brisbane Corporate Office
The purpose of Global Information Management (IM) is to enable the delivery of business processes, communication, collaboration and knowledge management through the deployment, support and maintenance of enterprise technology, infrastructure, applications and mine technical systems.
As the Mining Technical Systems Analyst reporting to the Mining Technical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the building and running of opencast and underground Metallurgical Coal application systems.
Ideally you will have specific knowledge and experience in the IM field, controls and risk mitigation
Responsibilities:
- Apply technical and business process knowledge and serve as an expert in terms of recommending and driving technical and process improvements
- Transform the Strategy into a technology roadmap, in collaboration with business, that defines specific projects and initiatives to enable the vision by providing input of gaps and opportunities at the operations
- Understand Mining Mission control and digitilisation initiatives in the group and assist in defining the requirements to acheive both at a site level.
- Compile detailed application specifications and standards
- Work closely with industry peers and suppliers to ensure that best practice is applied throughout AA
- Deliver client service functions, including strategy, support for business development, quality of service and operations
- Act as a key member of programme and project teams
- Recommend and drive process improvements
- Manage technical specialists team members and technicians and application licences
- Manage and supervise contractors and vendors
- Perform System Analysis and Integration
You will possess a Bachelors degree or equivalent in the relevant IM Discipline or an undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in Mining, electrical or Mechanical engineering.
