SMS Innovative Mining Solutions is an exciting privately owned company with the Head Office based in Welshpool, Perth. Established in 2007 SMS has specialised in the supply of SME and HD Fitters to support our Maintenance and Repair Contracts throughout the Gold Region of Western Australia.
Job tasks and responsibilities
We are currently seeking applications from experienced surface mining Excavator Operators for 2/1 rosters on various Gold and Lithium projects located in the Goldfields.
FIFO from Perth or Goldfields residents.
To be successful we are looking for applicants who hold competencies for and of the following machinery:
- Haul Truck CAT 785,777
- Dozer CAT D10, D11
- Loader CAT 992
- Grader CAT 16
- Excavator PC3600 PC1250
Skills and experience
- Total Commitment to Safety
- You will be able to pass a full pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol
- Surface mining accreditation
- Current drivers licence (HR Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' heavy industry experience in the same role on remote FIFO projects a must
