The BTP Group is a subsidiary of Ausdrill Ltd, and is one of Australia's leading suppliers of machinery parts and equipment to the mining and earthmoving industries, nationwide.

Due to increasing work in Western Australia, BTP in Hazelmere (approx. 25 min Northeast of Perth CBD) are expanding their workshop and currently require enthusiastic & self-motivated Component Rebuild Mechanics to join our professional and safety focused team.

We have specially setup rebuild bays that are fully equipped with networked computers, 1 tonne gantry cranes, component overhaul tables, ample bench space, lockable cupboards and plenty of room.

Combine that with our extensive range of specialised rebuild tooling and overhaul documentation BTP is the place to be if overhauling heavy earthmoving components is your forte.

General skills, experience and knowledge required:

  • HD Trade Certificate an advantage but not essential, similar qualifications consider providing right experience outlined clearly in cv
  • Previous experience working primarily on Caterpillar equipment desirable.
  • Rebuild experience on one or more of the following essential: Transmissions, torque converters, diffs and final drives, wheel groups & engines.
  • Dogging & Rigging tickets an advantage but not essential as BTP support training for the right candidate.
  • Competent computer skills and knowledge of Caterpillar SIS.
  • Good written and oral communication with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
  • A healthy respect for the company and fellow employees.
  • Knowledge and the application of OH&S in the workplace.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
