The Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Supply Supervisor to join the supply team at our DeGrussa Copper-Gold mine. This position is responsible for the daily supervision of the Supply function through visible leadership and ensuring that the team are safely and effectively providing and accounting for materials and services required by the DeGrussa mine site.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Leading the supply team on a day to day basis by motivating, organising, scheduling and encouraging teamwork to ensure the needs of internal stakeholders are met whilst simultaneously complying with company policies and procedures and maximising the profitability of the company.
• Day to day supervision of the purchasing, expediting, receiving and issuing activities and management of fuel and reagents.
• Ensuring stocktakes, full and cyclical, are completed by the Supply team on time.
• Ensuring that all Supply related problems that emerge are quickly and efficiently resolved. 
• Managing the logistics and transport of goods to and from site including activities dictated by the Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Completing end of month reporting to the required timeline and required standard.

Key requirements for this role include:

• Significant supply experience within the resources industry and demonstrated supervisory experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent liaison and communication skills.
• Capable of working in a small team.
• Good oral and written communication skills. 
• Excellent numerical skills, proficient knowledge of IT systems and procedures and computer literacy
• A current "C" Class driver's License
• Strong safety culture (includes good housekeeping).

This role is offered with family friendly 4:3, 4:3, 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth.

DeGrussa has a modern camp complete with gym, indoor cricket, multisport court, golf simulator and music room and offers high quality ensuite accommodation. Airstrip is located within walking distance of the village.
