Practon Group is an electrical contracting company that services the mining industry throughout Western Australia.
Practon Group is an equal opportunity employer and we are seeking mine site experienced Electrical Technicians for plant commissioning and ongoing electrical construction works at a mine site in the Pilbara region of WA. These long term roles are for an immediate start, to be successful in gaining a position the applicants must have extensive experienced in the following areas;
- Commissioning and fault finding on a variety of electrical equipment associated with a mining process plant.
- Statutory testing and recording of results following the commissioning process
- Electrical construction including cable ladder installation, cable pulling and terminating etc
- Be able to read, understand and interpret schematic drawings
- Have high level of fault finding/diagnostic skills on a variety of electrical equipment
- Must have computer literacy
The casual FIFO roles are based on a 2 weeks on 1 week off roster and the point of hire is Perth. The successful candidates will be offered attractive remuneration commensurate with their experience.
To be successful the applicants are required to fulfil the following requirements;
- Posses a current WA "A" grade electrical licence
- Posses a current WA "C" class drivers licence
- Must have current EWP license
- Must have completed Working at Heights within the past 12 months
- Must posses a current First Aid/Provide First Aid Certificate complete with current CPR component
- Have a proven commitment to working safely and comply with all site safety standards to ensure a safe and environmentally healthy workplace
- Have good communication skills, be able to work autonomously and when required work in a team environment
- Possess a "can do attitude"
- Be ready to start work immediatey.
