The Client
Our client, a specialist provider of commercial energy and renewable solutions, has seen phenomenal growth underpinned by their innovative business models.

The successful candidate will be able to clearly prove an outstanding record of building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients to deliver ambitious commercial objectives. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate how your leadership and guidance allowed your previous sales team to thrive and exceed targets.

We are looking for a visionary and experienced National Sales Manager who is able to secure major clients on a national level, build relationships and think laterally.
Success in this role will rely on in-depth technical knowledge relating to energy systems

The role
A sales professional who isn't easily fazed by challenges or change, an individual who is interested in helping the company grow and shape the future of the business.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Generating new business through self-generated leads using strong customer focus with professional and accurate proposals
  • Continually source opportunities for business growth across multiple industries as an ambassador for our brand
  • Using a Solutions focused selling approach through good analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Researching, prospecting, qualifying and developing profitable clients.
  • Lead and mentor up to 6 direct reports and 3 sales teams
This position has sole responsibility for the management and development of all proposals and tender responses for the sales team.

Skills and Experience required
  • Proven new major account business sales experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Proven experience managing clients on a national level 
  • Energy efficiency understanding 
  • Engineering or strong technical background preferred  
  • Agile and open minded
  • Passionate and driven by sales
  • Collaboratively bring new ideas & contribute to the bigger picture
  • Strong analytical and numeric background
The successful candidate will embody success, boast a down to earth leadership style, a highly organised individual with not only strong commercial acumen but who has the desire to collaboratively deliver new ideas & contribute to the bigger picture.
