Our client is a reputable operator within the resources sector and has an exciting opportunity for a Project Control Analyst on a 2 year fixed term contract.
 
The successful candidate would be responsible for the Functionally and Line reporting to the Project Controls Lead on all matters regarding cost control, analysis, trending, reporting and potential risk mitigation and opportunities for internal initiatives. They will participate in developing Work Breakdown Structures and Cost Breakdown Structures as the basis for project budgeting, cost control and forecasting. 

They will ensure the project budget is an accurate representation of the project estimate and correctly allocated on the project cost control system. An important part of the role is to track project process and provide project performance analyse where required. The role will require you to implement project management change and liaise with the engineering teams and construction site to prepare project trends and change orders.  
 
Part of the role will cover the forecasting analysis and reporting functions to continually assess the cost performance project and be able to accurately forecast the final outcome. This will include managing and controlling project changes to approved budgets and ensuring that the cost impact of the changes are implemented into budget recap and cost forecasting. 
 
Candidates applying for this role must have experience in Project Controls with brownfield construction knowledge. Candidates must have a strong understand and hands on experience with SAP as well as a strong working knowledge of the various engineering disciplines such as mechanical, piping, civil / structural, electrical, and instrumentation.
