The Role:
This role is responsible for risk and change management support services throughout the entire life cycle of a new capital project.
The Risk Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development of risk and change management. This will be through a variety of forms such as; training material, plans and developing basic reports.

Key Accountabilities
• Support discipline and functional teams to run their own risk meetings and schedule “risk update” and “risk review” sessions.
• Provide training on risk theory and risk tools
• Support the development and delivery of induction and ongoing training material - in order to manage risks and ensure control effectiveness
• Maintain error and improvement logging
• Support the Quantitative Risk Analysis as required.
• Establish initial risk registers in a system

Key Responsibilities
• Undertake risk module resource testing and error logging and tracking
• Maintain good working relationships with all key stakeholders and answer questions regarding the risk process
• Update the maintenance of displays of project risk and change information
• Assist internal staff in the use of risk software tools
• Updating monthly risk and change reports and presentations
• Preparation of ad hoc risk and change reports for internal and external groups
• Ensure work is in line with company policy

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of cost/planning/project control systems experience in major resources projects
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with computer software systems used for risk management
• Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders
• Analytical/technical skills with an ability to problem solve



Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Australian regulatory regime
• Qualification in risk management or project risk management
• Megaproject experience in a risk, interface or assurance role
