The Role:
We are partnering with a leading Mining Operator recruiting for an Electrical Reliability Engineers working on a market leading Manganese Operation.
Working in the Fixed Plant Maintenance Reliability team you will report to the Senior Reliability Engineer, responsible for the data analysis, engineering and defect elimination to improve the asset.
What’s in it for you?
Permanent position on Groote Eylandt working on the client side, an 8/6 roster from Darwin or Cairns. A comparable salary is on offer with relocation assistance on offer to the right candidate.
Role accountabilities will include but not be limited to:
- Support the Maintenance Reliability team in areas of safety, cost reduction and production improvement
- Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis on equipment downtime and component failures
- Perform data analysis to optimise maintenance strategies
- Identify production and reliability improvement opportunities
- Identify and Implement improvement and defect elimination projects
- Review criticality analysis and ensure plant events are documented, tracked and prioritized through risk review
- Provide technical expertise to Execution to support work quality and safe execution of maintenance work

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Trade certificate
- Mining/O&G/Defence Industry exposure
- Essential Fixed Plant Equipment Maintenance experience
- Demonstrated analytical and investigative skills
- Solid understanding of reliability and maintenance principles
Hands on experience with the following systems & software:
- Apollo RCA
- PLC/SCADA control systems
- MMS
- Downtime Data Analysis
- Autodesk inventor
- Conveyor design
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- 1-SAP
