Level 3 Rope Access Technician - Industrial Painter / Blaster

AGC are accepting applications for Level 3 Rope Access Painter / Blasters to become a part of the Wheatstone Platform maintenance team.
The positions are based on Wheatstone Offshore Platform and will be on a 2:2 roster. Only candidates with point of hire Perth will be considered for the role.
The ideal candidate will possess maintenance experience and will be accountable for the following:
- Access the scope, abrasive blasting , power tool preparation, painting application using airless and conventional spray, brush, roller and other mediums as required
- Experience in with Pinovo blasting equipment and UHP blasting is highly desirable
- At least 3 years’ experience working in the Oil & Gas industry; preferably offshore
- You must be flexible and adaptable in a challenging environment
- A team player and willing to help other trades within the team to perform their duties when required
- Ability to foster an environment and culture where safety is paramount
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in the following areas:
- At least 3 years’ experience working on a large scale project/s within the Oil & Gas industry
- You must be flexible and adaptable in a challenging environment
- Willing to help other trades within the team to perform their duties when required
- Awareness of Australian and Industry standards
Candidates must have the following qualifications and licences:
- Relevant Australian Recognised Painting Trade Qualification (Preferred) or proven experience
- IRATA Level 3
- BOSIET
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be able to obtain a MSIC
