ILUKA RESOURCES is a major participant in the global mineral sands sector and is involved in the exploration, project management, operations and marketing of zircon and titanium based products.  With a corporate support centre in Perth, we also have activities in regional Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia, USA and Sierra Leone.

We are seeking Operators (Process) to join the team at our new Cataby Operation. We are looking for self-motivated people who are focused on undertaking safe and efficient operational practices in order to maximise production and quality of output.

Reporting to the Shift Coordinator, a key accountability of these roles is to ensure the plant is operated safely and at full potential by:

• Undertaking regular plant inspections and completing check sheets

• Sampling process streams and reporting and correcting any production variances

• Making plant available to enable timely and effective maintenance

• Undertaking appropriate risk and hazard assessments to ensure safe working environment is sustained

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Good numeracy, literacy and computer capacity

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a small team

• Demonstrated commitment to further training and skills development

• Valid full driver’s license essential, HR license is desirable or ability to obtain

• Desirable, though not essential: Front-end-loader / Skid steer / Forklift licences

These positions are  on an 8/6, 7/7 roster and is semi remote located on our operational site 150km north of Perth at Cataby in the Shire of Dandaragan. Travel is DIDO with on-site camp based accommodation provided
