Based in the south east of Melbourne, Australian owned wholesaler, supporting thousands of independents nationally and internationally in the retail space.
Description
Reporting to the National Product Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for full lifecycle management of category products, development of opportunities and strategic process across the market. There will be an element of travel.
- Working closely with suppliers/ negotiations and collaborations
- Communication with customers is essential for market mapping and opportunities
- Provide other departments with Technical support
- Liaise with industrial design team on new products and strategic developments
- Manage and mentor the Category dedicated Product Coordinator
- Provide reporting of product performance monthly
Profile
Previous experience in a wholesale environment, and a good understanding of the retail market. Experience in supplier negotiations and market mapping is essential for the success in this role. Proven communication skills across multiple stakeholders and strong influencing skills will drive the business forward.
