About the role

This a great opportunity working within a growth area, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end operational delivery and operational sustainment of Viva Energy’s Retail Agent platform in Australia. In this role you will deliver Retail Agent Sites to opening, in coordination with the Retail Program Manager, Property Development Managers and Project Engineers – ensuring all sites are fully operational. You will act as the Retail Operations Subject Matter Expert – providing feedback and sign-off of Operational Considerations in Site Design and Development.  You will lead Retailer Induction/on-boarding processes – from contract execution to site opening, ensuring Retailers have been supported and are ready-to-trade. You will be the Business Focal Point for Retail POS/BOS Solution.  In this role you will identify and feedback opportunities for costs savings - both capital & OPEX to maximise profitability and Implement aligned operational plans and process for all site. You will also be confident in guiding and coaching Retail Operations Managers to carry out Site Remedial diagnostics at trading sites, helping develop plans to optimise site performance.

About you

To be set up for success in this role you will have demonstrated ability to own and deliver projects on time & under budget in a commercially competitive environment. You will have experience in Retail Operations, preferably from a Quick Service Restaurant, Convenience or Fresh Food background, in addition to IT and Project Delivery and be confident delivering through others and building robust relationship with internal & external stakeholders. You will be commercially savvy and be able to evaluate an diagnose Retail Agent business forecasts and performance and implement and delivery of operational programs. You will have strong analytical skills and financial acumen, including experience in cash flow modelling and exposure to the retail industry (Retail Outlet Design and Site Optimisation), commission agent or similar business models. You will have a working knowledge of HSSE Risk Assessment, Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory depending on level of experience.
