An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior
Merchandise Planner to join the team. Reporting directly to the Merchandise Director, you will manage the company
merchandise plan and steer the merchandise strategy.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage merchandise plan, set and review targets.
  • Manage OTB; reallocate & replan according to performance
  • Participate in post seasonal reviews; guide decisions to achieve financial outcomes
  • Oversee allocation process / strategy & manage change
  • Produce buying plans to support change & deliver budgeted financial outcomes
  • Markdown management & price optimisation
  • Manage & coach Allocation and Planning teams
  • Participate & plan accordingly for range reviews, store grading, promotional planning and replenishment planning.
  • Manage in season performance; work with buyers on strategies, lessons learnt and performance improvement

formal). We cater for men with a variety of good quality gear at a great price. Currently employing 500 staff we are continuing
our growth and expanding in to new markets.

We are looking for:
  • Excellent knowledge of Planning / Buying Cycle and Supply Chain.
  • Proven ability in managing OTB.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) & presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Excel (Macros, Pivot tables, and V-look ups)
  • Proven ability to communicate at all levels
  • Strong Analytical ability
  • Management experience in leading a team
  • Ability to identify need to influence & lead change
  • Commercial awareness, proven record of executing commercial decisions
  • At least 5+years of experience in a similar role
