Working in partnership with the Area Manager, the Store Manager is able to immediately engage a high performing team, maximising all opportunities to further build the brand profile.
Leadership
- Demonstrates sound decision making skills
- Is an entrepreneur, takes smart risks with measurable results
- Builds and maintains productive partnerships with team, as well as senior management
- Able to communicate the needs of the business to Area Manager, peers, and senior management
People & Development
- Partners with the Area Manager to recruit, hire and retain top talent
- Able to engage and on board new hires
- Coordinates workshops that are collaborative, educational and motivational
- Delivers performance appraisals, sets goals and conducts consistent catch ups with the team
- Ensures that coaching and development is consistent
- Identifies and develops talent in store, assisting them in achieving their career aspirations
Customer Engagement
- Cultivates an environment of genuine customer engagement
- Able to lead from the front, demonstrating an outstanding level of service
- Acts as a brand ambassador reflective of the company values and aesthetic
- Utilizes styling guides, blogs and social media to be able to educate the customer around latest trends and offer an entire solution
