The role:

We are currently seeking a Graphic Design Manager to join the marketing team based at our Port Melbourne Head Office for a 12 month contract. This role is responsible for leading and directing the design and production of visual and audio materials and media used for advertising, broadcast, and web communications. The Graphic Design Manager oversees the creation of art, photo, video, and layout design as well as establishes and implements design and format standards and processes to produce consistent and high quality results. In addition this role selects any outside or contract vendors and approves and coordinates projects. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor the graphic design team and provided day to day leadership
  • Manage graphic design traffic through design team
  • Develop campaigns for Stores, ATL and online in line with trade calendar and agreed strategy
  • Plans campaigns and meets agreed deadlines
  • Collaborates across multiple functions and creative agency’s
  • Owns brand development and brand tone of voice


To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic team environment
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality and people sensitive information 
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of professionalism
  • Strong commercial sense and understanding of how marketing supports the business goals
  • Social media, ecommerce
  • The ability to be self-motivated, results driven and have a high attention to detail
