About the role
The appointee will use their knowledge of automotive components and systems, together with a strong customer service focus to identify and provide the correct parts to internal and external customers.
Duties will include:
Assisting customers in person, via email and on the phone
Picking parts for customer orders
Packing incoming orders away
Invoicing and processing card payments

Skills and experience
THIS IS CRUCIALLY IMPORTANT: The appointee needs to be a petrolhead with a good basic knowledge of the mechanical workings of a car. You don't need to be a mechanic, but you do need to know a camshaft from a crankshaft. You will need to be a bit of a car geek, with a good head for detail because you will need to understand the different parts requirements of different Porsche models. On top of that, a pleasant, confident manner and a customer service focus are crucial.
You do not need to be a mechanic, but you will ideally be somebody who is passionate and enthusiastic about sports and classic cars, with some history of tinkering on your own cars in the past.
