About the role
The brand is looking for an exceptional Counter Manager to join the team within the department store environment. As a counter manager you will be focused on delivering over and above customer service to ensure brand loyalty and build on the current clientele base to grow the business. The brand prides itself on having a unique point of difference and brand values. This role will be instrumental in championing these values and leading by example.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Achieve daily, monthly and seasonal sales goals
- Customer service
- Recruit new customers and retain existing Shiseido customers
- Perform counter activities: Skin and makeup consultations and Facial Massage
- Maintenance of counter
You will be provided with comprehensive and ongoing training both in the classroom and in the field.
Skills and experience
In order to be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 2 years of retail or service industry experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills (a second language is desirable, but not essential)
- Immaculate presentation
- Experience in facial massage and makeovers is an advantage
- Ability to work within department store environment
- Flexibility across key trading hours including late night & weekends as well as flex ups during promotions & events
- Passion for beauty industry and customer satisfaction
