We are looking for a Counter Manager, who is dedicated to retail and possess skills in makeup, skincare and fragrance. With strong KPI's and a proven ability to achieve sales and service targets you are looking for the next step in your beauty career.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Make the Dior shopping experience a memorable one, by providing the highest standard of customer service.
- Demonstrate, educate and sell skincare, makeup and fragrances according to the standards of Dior.
- Build awareness of products for customers by providing daily consultations.
- Develop personal relationships with your customers using the Client Registry or POS system, ensuring that is always updated and maintained.
- Never lose a customer by always following up with a phone call after purchases or consultation.
- Keep the counter and display cases clean and merchandised correctly according to the Dior merchandising standards.
- Wear the Dior uniform with pride each day, adhering to the Dior Grooming Guidelines
- Attend all Dior training sessions.
- Ensure achievement of the counter sales and events booking targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Set and follow up on Individual sales objectives for other team members.
- Communicate Counter goals to the team through Addict to Retail’s Daily Brief.
- Motivate, coach and encourage all team members on a daily basis.
- Ensure the development of Dior team members through regular coaching.
- Being the role model to the counter team.
- Responsible for all administrative tasks such as rostering of counter, stock management and sales reporting.
- Coordinating Events with Makeup Artists and ensuring 100% bookings are made prior to event starting in store.
- Reporting to Retail Manager sales figures, stock issues and roster requirements.

Qualities of Counter Manager
- Able to manage, motivate, coach and develop team members.
- A problem solver, making the right decisions for what is needed.
- Well organised and able to clearly communicate counter goals to team.
- Result orientated – always striving to achieve the sales target.
- Excellent selling skills that can be used to coach other team members.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Very good knowledge of fragrance and cosmetics and has a passion for the Dior brand.
- A Team Player and able to delegate where needed.
- Professional and positive at all times with team and customers.
- Attention to detail (Merchandising & Counter)
- Must have retail experience in cosmetics
- Must have Make-up course/background
All successful candidates will be required to work 33 hours retail trading hours, which includes weekends and late night shopping.
